By incorporating a Smart Factory system that combines IT, which has been prepared since 2008, into the manufacturing site, we were able to reduce significant additional costs and achieve process optimization. Through this, we were able to supplement the price of the product and meet the customer's needs (LOW PRICE).
From 2008 to 2012, production facilities were completed through the Smart Factory system built with the support of Samsung, and through this, cost reduction was possible. Since then, from 2014 to 2018, POSCO has provided support to optimize the production line. Through this smart factory system, we launched KKY products of quality that can be used for STANDARD products, CCO products, and food facilities.
